Cost-Effective Performance and Flexibility
for Data Intensive Applications
Batch or Radio Frequency: Choose the Model and
Options that Meet Your Needs
Symbol Technologies' PDT 3100 Series are
small, lightweight portable data terminals
designed for flexible, single-hand operation and
built for unmatched durability. These 16-bit
DOS-based terminals are ideal for a wide range of
data tracking applications. The PDT 3100 is
designed for batch processing, while the PDT 3110
features Symbol's Spectrum One® 900
MHz radio frequency technology for real-time data
exchange with your host computer.
Choose the integrated scan head option and the
PDT 3100 offers a cost-effective way to maximize
your productivity through laser scanning. The
world's smallest scan element, the innovative SE
1000 scan engine utilizes Symbol's patented Mylar®
scan element, a unique technology that creates
motion without wear or tear for durable, non-stop
reliability. Plus, the Mylar scan element is so
reliable it comes with its own limited lifetime
warranty*, another Symbol exclusive.
Throughput-- as well as user comfort -- is
further enhanced via the reversible scan head
which permits the user to select a left or right
scanning position. Alternatively, the terminal
can support a contact or tethered scanner.
More features, more performance, lower cost.

Scan through plastic and other protective
coatings
All of this makes the PDT 3100 Series the
choice over contact scanners in applications such
